I hate when people do things simply because they are a tradition. Overtime, people lose sight of the true purpose of holidays, rituals, etc. because theyre solely interested in the materialism of the holiday. Or even things such as the World Trade Center memorial ceremony. Every year, people gather around to read out names of people who died on September 11th in the attack. But at this point in time, many of the children of our generation are clueless as to the meaning behind it all. Most of them are unaware about things like building 7 and the fact that it wasnt the kind of muslims you see every day on the street who acted out the attack. They just know that the ceremony is what they should do to show that they are good americans and that muslims were the bad guys… I just feel that if people evaluated a lot of the things they do, there wouldnt be as much cause as they think there is for celebration.

I am not new to tumblr. I felt as though I had outgrown my previous blog and couldnt really relate to my followers anymore. So I had to just burn it down and build it again.
